It could not be more evident that Technology surrounds each and every one of us. It is critical to observe this and take notice because it is the younger generation that is effected greatest by these advances. It is observable that Wayne State University Students as well as other students and individuals around that age use technology daily and would be lost with out their laptops, music players, and smart phones. all this takes place in the background, we do not notice that we check our email or phone over 50 times a day, but in the back of our minds it happens, and it would be very interesting to see what would happen if technology were to be suddenly taken away from everyone, and observe how the different generations would cope in very distinct ways.
Additionally, technology has snuck its way into the classroom, as this post along with this blog is a required portion of a project for a university course. If for example 10 years ago this assignment was created 10 years ago, when the internet and blogs were in low use and perhaps (blogs) non-existent, then this project would seem irrelevant. Today we are all connected, and this blog is a powerful form of brainstorming and presenting ones thoughts to the open and at the same time informing the audience what is on my mind!
